The Junior League of North Harris and South Montgomery Counties, Inc. (JLNHSMC) is honored to present the community program, “Done in a Day.” This program provides a quick response or short-term project support for Junior League communities. JLNHSMC provides trained volunteer support for community projects or events that can be accomplished in a one-time evening or weekend effort. When nonprofits are limited in achieving their goals because of lack of manpower, this program provides a dedicated group of JLNHSMC volunteers to work on short-term projects in North Harris and South Montgomery Counties. Application Process Done In A Day (DIAD) requests must be submitted to the DIAD committee a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to the event. The Chairman of the Done In A Day Committee will notify each Agency requesting assistance within fourteen (14) days of receiving this application. Applications can be submitted online below. The application form must be completed in full and signed. 2. The nonprofit organization must be tax-exempt and furnish proof of their tax-exempt status. 3. The request must impact the lives of women, children, and families in the North Harris and South Montgomery Counties area. 4. The requested project must be able to be completed in a one-time evening or weekend time period. 5. Project requests must not involve JLNHSMC volunteers in any fundraising, medical research, political or religious matters. 6. Agencies agree to coordinate all public relations efforts involving a Done In A Day project with JLNHSMC Communications Council. All promotional materials should be approved both by the Agency and JLNHSMC prior to release to the media. The Agency agrees to give JLNHSMC appropriate sponsor credit by use of our name and logo on advertising, flyers, brochures, etc. that are created by the Agency to advertise the event or project.
